Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team in the Paint Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Accountant in Qatar, coupled with an accounting degree and a strong background in Paint Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
 

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.

Cost Accounting:

• Conduct cost analysis to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Track and analyze production costs, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.

General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions.

Tax Compliance:

• Stay informed about tax regulations and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Prepare and submit accurate tax returns.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to optimize inventory levels.

Audit Coordination:

• Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in Qatar.
• Industry experience in Paint Manufacturing is a must.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qatar Driving License.
