We specialise in the commercial operation of dry bulk vessels, providing innovative freight solutions and reliable logistics services to leading industrial customers across the Middle East, India, Asia and beyond. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Post Fixture & Vessel Operations Executive to join our growing Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious shipping professional with solid dry bulk operational experience who wishes to further develop under the guidance of experienced vessel operators. Experience Required Minimum 5 years' experience in Dry Bulk Vessel Operations / Post Fixture Operations. Experience working with ship owners, charterers, port agents and brokers. Prior experience handling voyage operations from fixture through completion. Experience with voyage accounting and laytime calculations will be highly advantageous. Education Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Shipping, Maritime or Logistics qualification preferred. Diploma or Master's Degree in Shipping will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Working closely with the Senior Operations team, you will assist in the complete post-fixture management of dry bulk voyages, including: Voyage Operations Execute post-fixture operations from fixture recap through voyage completion. Review Fixture Recaps and Charter Parties. Prepare voyage instructions and operational documentation. Coordinate vessel nominations and acceptance with all stakeholders. Liaise with Owners, Charterers, Port Agents, Brokers, Surveyors and Terminals. Monitor vessel movements and provide daily operational updates. Coordinate loading and discharge operations. Ensure smooth execution of voyages whilst maintaining high service standards. Port & Agency Management Appoint and coordinate Load Port and Discharge Port Agents. Review and verify PDAs and FDAs. Coordinate Statements of Facts and supporting documentation. Monitor port productivity and operational performance. Voyage Performance Assist in voyage profitability monitoring. Support bunker planning and bunker procurement. Coordinate coastal conversion and reversion where applicable. Assist in freight tax and bunker duty calculations. Monitor operational costs throughout the voyage. Laytime & Claims Prepare Laytime Calculations. Review and negotiate laytime settlements in accordance with Charter Party provisions. Coordinate with P&I Clubs, Surveyors and Claims teams whenever required. Maintain complete voyage records and supporting documentation. Reporting & Administration Prepare voyage MIS reports for Management. Maintain accurate operational records. Ensure timely closure of voyage files. 1.1 Job Scope Summary The Performance Process Engineer reports to Operation Manager and is directly responsible to carry out plant analysis, performance monitoring, and plant testing to track plant performance status, and identify performance shortfalls as well as improvement opportunities for necessary follow-up actions, to ensure that waste throughout and power generation equipment are operating at optimal output and efficiency and clear explanation of performance reports. This role should be able to train, coach, and mentor technicians for operation and maintenance. 1.2 Job Responsibilities Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements Facilitate the process of improving the plants operating capability, asset utilization, process optimization, and equipment reliability to meet production plan & targets and to ensure resolution, closure, and proper tracking Elaboration and analysis of the monthly operation and performance reports and collecting data from all relevant resources Analysis of costs, breakdowns, Cause/Damage, installation downtimes, and frequencies on critical equipment Track and trend data, analyze data, calculate results, diagnose, and evaluate issues and develop corrective actions as required Work with the production and maintenance department to identify trends and actions to take to resolve issues.
