About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor - Recreation to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Manage daily operations of sports and leisure facilities, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Supervise, train, and schedule staff to ensure high performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Plan, organize, and oversee sports and recreational activities and events, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns promptly and ensure excellent customer service across all sports and leisure areas.
- Conduct regular safety checks, risk assessments, and ensure proper maintenance, storage, and inventory of sports and recreational equipment.
- Assist with budget management, collaborate on program marketing, gather participant feedback, and prepare reports for senior management.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
- Strong behavioral competencies including problem solving, leadership, creativity, project management, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills suitable for sports and leisure operations.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
