About the Role
The Manager – HSE Oil & Gas position provides technical leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements, international standards, and AD Ports Group Integrated HSE Management System requirements, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. The role supports operational excellence through effective risk management, emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and the promotion of a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for HSE operations across Oil & Gas activities
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements and international standards
- Implement and maintain AD Ports Group Integrated HSE Management System
- Drive ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective risk management controls
- Develop and oversee emergency preparedness and response plans
- Lead business continuity planning initiatives
- Promote a strong safety culture across all operational levels
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
- Mentor and develop HSE team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
- Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 preferred
- 8-12 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas industry
- 3-5 years in a managerial HSE role
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulatory frameworks
