Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Driver-Lead, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of guests, as well as assisting management with team leadership and operational tasks. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run daily reports, identify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
  • Document all trips thoroughly before starting and upon conclusion.
  • Transport guests safely to and from assigned destinations using property vehicles.
  • Park vehicles in designated areas when not in use.
  • Conduct regular inspections of property vehicles for damage and cleanliness.
  • Monitor tire pressure and fluid levels, and refuel vehicles as necessary.
  • Document all vehicle incidents (damages, accidents) and submit reports to management.
  • Assist management in various HR functions including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for company policies such as the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Anticipate and proactively address guests’ service needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Perform visual verification and inspection tasks for information, tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Execute physical tasks including moving at required speeds, standing/sitting/walking for extended periods, and lifting/moving objects up to 50 lbs (or 75+ lbs with assistance).
  • Navigate various surfaces (sloping, uneven, slippery, stairs, ramps) and perform actions like reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Utilize manual dexterity and gross/fine motor skills continually.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move at speeds required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog).
  • Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Proficiency in moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
