About the Role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Teller to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing financial transactions, and adhering to all bank policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer service through efficient cash handling and reduced customer waiting times.
• Consistently meet and exceed customer service standards.
• Adhere to all established Bank Policies, operating manuals, service quality standards, and code of conduct.
• Eliminate the risk of cash differences by complying with cash control procedures and Central Bank requirements.
• Check notes and denominations for accurate cash delivery.
• Perform financial transactions (Cash Management, Security items, Cheques) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Facilitate and participate in branch projects (Service Quality Programs, Process changes, Sales, etc.).
• Assume custodianship of securities as assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Contribute to the achievement of branch sales targets.
• Attend training and learning programs to improve skills and product/policy awareness.
• Maintain effective relationships with supervisors and peers to ensure teamwork.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in banking or finance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong cash handling and mathematical abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of banking operations and compliance is a plus.
