Job Overview:
First Motors is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our expanding automotive division. Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicle systems and components to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Conducting routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
- Repairing or replacing defective parts, such as brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate fault finding and resolution.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all work performed on each vehicle.
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the allocated time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
- A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
- In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A valid driving licence is required....
