Position: Stewarding Supervisor

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Stewarding Supervisor. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across kitchens, restaurants, and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, restaurants, and back-of-house areas
  • Oversee the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and tableware
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
  • Schedule and assign tasks to stewarding team members
  • Train, coach, and evaluate stewarding staff
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment
  • Coordinate with culinary and food and beverage teams to support operations
  • Ensure proper waste management and recycling procedures
  • Report equipment maintenance issues and follow up on repairs
  • Monitor productivity and maintain high operational standards
  • Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in stewarding or housekeeping within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury environment
