Our newest opportunity is for a talented Resident Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. We are looking to consider GCC National passport holders for this role, and as such, they will be viewed as a priority.

 

This position is responsible for leading the pre-construction supervision team to ensure the co-ordination between design and delivery teams achieves the overall vision of the project. The role will encompass liaising with the client and key stakeholders, oversight on contracts, procurement and value engineering.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Developing and maintaining professional and meaningful relationships with the client to ensure program and project requirements are being satisfied.
  • Ensuring the delivery of the contracted Design and Construction Management services to the client.
  • Managing and directing the development and maintenance of the program and project schedules for all phases of the project including procurement, planning, design and construction. 
  • Ensuring compliance with all KEO internal processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience in managing procurement of large design and build projects.
  • Strong premiership, people and management skills and business acumen.
  • Effective verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Prior experience ensuring projects and programs meet financial objectives.
  • Time management and task prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. 

 

Ideal candidates will have spent at least 8 years of their career as a Resident Engineer working on Hospitality projects. This role will suit a candidate that is focused on being present on site a lot.
