Job Description

Job Summary

Eram Talent is seeking a Material Expeditor to support material procurement, expediting, tracking, and delivery activities for rig-site operations within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with suppliers, vendors, procurement, logistics, and site personnel to ensure all required materials are available on time and according to project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track material orders from purchase order placement through final delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm material availability and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up regularly on pending orders, delayed materials, shortages, and backorders.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and rig-site teams regarding material requirements.
  • Maintain accurate material tracking sheets, delivery records, and related documentation.
  • Review purchase orders and delivery information to ensure materials are supplied as required.
  • Identify potential delivery delays and communicate issues to the concerned teams.
  • Support the resolution of material shortages and delivery-related issues.
  • Provide regular updates on material status, expected delivery dates, and outstanding items.
  • Ensure critical materials are prioritized and delivered to the rig site as per operational requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation related to expediting activities.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced rig-site environment and meet operational deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates to 5 years of relevant experience in material expediting, procurement, logistics, supply chain, or materials management.
  • Oil & Gas, drilling, rig-site, or industrial project experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of procurement and material management processes.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders, material tracking, supplier coordination, and delivery schedules.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple material requirements and meet deadlines.
