Job Overview
Middle East Mattress Factory Co. (the official master licensee for Sealy Mattresses in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer & Showroom Visual Merchandiser to be based at their headquarters or premium retail hubs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
- Showroom Concept Design: Create, execute, and scale high-end interior concepts for Sealy retail showrooms across the GCC.
- Space Planning & Layouts: Develop precise 2D/3D layouts, structural floor plans, and electrical/lighting partition plans using AutoCAD or SketchUp.
- Visual Merchandiser Execution: Design dedicated sleep zones, custom point-of-sale bedding fixtures, and localized window displays to maximize spatial product exposure.
- Material & FF&E Sourcing: Research, select, and procure premium materials, custom cabinetry, paint finishes, and textiles that coordinate with a luxury hospitality and domestic bedding aesthetic.
- Factory & Vendor Liaison: Collaborate directly with regional furniture production factories and contractor teams to translate design intent into technical assembly workshop drawings.
- Project Management: Oversee complete project lifecycles from preliminary sketches, budgetary coordination, on-site structural fit-outs, up to the final installation inspection.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related creative field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5+ years of verified industry experience specializing in premium furniture retail, luxury showroom design, or residential hospitality spaces.
- Technical Software: Expert proficiency utilizing AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Industry Knowledge: Profound understanding of joinery, custom cabinetry design, spatial ergonomics, lighting distribution, and textile application.
- Portfolio: A rich portfolio demonstrating physical fit-outs of high-end retail spaces, custom furniture modeling, or commercial layout designs.
- Languages: Professional proficiency in English is required; bilingual fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
