Job Description:
The main role of the teacher is to create a learning environment where all students are challenged according to their ability, using effective teaching and assessment strategies that enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding
Responsibilities:
- To plan collaboratively with Subject and grade/subject team teachers and coordinators
- Planning based on student learning outcomes derived from the BC curriculum
- Plan assessment strategies throughout the planning process
- To plan according to a range of ability levels so that all students are challenged through differentiation
- To work in collaboration with educational support
Requirements:
- Bachelors/ Education/ PGCE Degree
- Excellent relational skills are essential, including the ability to relate professionally and must be able to work well independently and cooperatively, and to use discretion when handling confidential information
- Should be able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities well and work efficiently
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is essential
- Willingness and enthusiasm for working with multidisciplinary team
