Job Description

Synopsis

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Head of Enterprise IT to lead the delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation across Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and other enterprise functions. The role will be responsible for defining the transformation strategy, leading implementation partners, managing programme governance, and ensuring successful business adoption. The successful candidate will bring deep SAP expertise, enterprise programme leadership experience, and a proven track record delivering complex transformation initiatives in large organizations.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme across Finance, Procurement, HR, and related business functions.
  • Develop and execute the ERP transformation roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
  • Overall responsible for Agile and waterfall projects.
  • Establish programme governance, budget controls, risk management, and benefits realization frameworks.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, HR, and Technology stakeholders to design future-state business processes and technology solutions.
  • Drive process standardization and optimization enabled by SAP S/4HANA.
  • Manage System Integrators, consulting partners, vendors, and delivery teams.
  • Oversee programme delivery across design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, deployment, and hypercare phases.
  • Ensure integration between SAP and enterprise applications, operational platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Lead business readiness, change management, training, and adoption activities.
  • Provide regular executive reporting, steering committee updates, and programme governance oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation capabilities to improve business processes and ERP outcomes.
