Electronics Repair and Calibration Technician

Role Overview

In this role, you will perform repairs and calibrations on a wide range of test and measurement equipment, ensuring traceable and accredited standards are met. Strong hands-on experience with electronics repair is essential and considered a key advantage.

You will be part of a newly established service lab in Saudi Arabia, working in a small, agile team with the ambition to grow rapidly. This requires a proactive, flexible mindset and willingness to take ownership across multiple aspects of lab operations.

Our goal is to return 95% of all repairs and calibrations within five working days, delivering excellent service and responsiveness to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations in line with traceable and accredited standards
• Execute diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic test equipment
• Support the setup and development of the new service laboratory in Saudi Arabia
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and strong customer satisfaction
• Handle administrative tasks related to service operations (service reports, certificates, system updates)
• Execute firmware, hardware, and software updates where required
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase turnaround time and lab efficiency
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (mid to high level)
• Hands-on experience in repairing electronic or electrical equipment (essential)
• Experience with calibration processes is a strong advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (preferred)
• Good understanding of quality standards and traceability (ISO/IEC 17025 is a plus)
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in English required; Arabic is an advantage
