Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our organization's documentation systems. This position requires a UAE National and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence through meticulous document management and control procedures.
- Organize, maintain, and manage all company documents and records using established filing systems and document control software
- Implement and enforce document control procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in databases and management systems with precision
- Create and update document indexes, catalogs, and retrieval systems for efficient access and distribution
- Monitor document expiration dates and coordinate timely renewal or archival of records
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents through proper handling and storage protocols
- Prepare and distribute documents to authorized personnel while maintaining detailed distribution logs
- Conduct regular audits of document storage areas to verify compliance with control standards
- Collaborate with department heads to understand documentation needs and customize control procedures accordingly
- Generate reports on document management activities and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Respond to document requests and provide retrieval support to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in document control, records management, or related administrative role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with document management systems and database software
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of document control procedures and best practices
- Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards
- Preferred: Experience with document control software or enterprise content management systems
- Preferred: Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems
- Preferred: Experience in a corporate, regulated, or government environment
- Must have a valid UAE Family Book

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital, acquired, traumatic, and reconstructive conditions requiring specialized plastic surgery. The consultant will work collaboratively with pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, craniofacial surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, ENT specialists, dermatologists, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, evaluate, and manage congenital and acquired pediatric plastic surgery conditions.Perform reconstructive and corrective surgical procedures for infants, children, and adolescents.Manage congenital anomalies including cleft lip and palate, craniofacial abnormalities, congenital hand deformities, vascular anomalies, and skin lesions.Perform reconstructive surgery following trauma, burns, infections, and tumor excision.Treat pediatric soft tissue injuries and complex wound reconstruction.Perform scar revision, skin grafting, local and regional flap reconstruction, and microsurgical procedures where applicable.Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams.Provide comprehensive preoperative assessment, operative management, and postoperative follow-up care.Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, expected outcomes, and long-term care.Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, case discussions, morbidity and mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.Supervise junior physicians, residents, fellows, and medical students.Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and international standards.Participate in clinical research, teaching, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and healthcare quality standards.Qualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by the relevant UAE health authority.Completion of an accredited residency in Plastic Surgery.Fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Craniofacial Surgery, or Pediatric Reconstructive Surgery.Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized under the UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR).Eligibility for or possession of a DHA, DOH, or MOHAP Consultant License.ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of post-board/fellowship experience as a Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon (or as required by UAE licensing regulations).Extensive experience in pediatric reconstructive and congenital plastic surgery.Experience in cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, congenital hand surgery, burn reconstruction, and pediatric trauma reconstruction is highly desirable.Experience working in internationally accredited tertiary pediatric hospitals is preferred.Demonstrated expertise in multidisciplinary pediatric surgical care.Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in pediatric reconstructive and plastic surgery.Strong knowledge of congenital anomalies and pediatric surgical principles.Excellent microsurgical and reconstructive surgical skills.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and family counseling skills.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.Leadership, mentoring, and teaching capabilities.Preferred QualificationsFellowship from a recognized international Pediatric Plastic Surgery or Craniofacial Surgery program.Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC region.Published research in peer-reviewed medical journals.
