Role Overview

  • Position: Consultant / Specialist Radiologist
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital – Radiology Department
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
  • Practice Model: Outpatient and inpatient diagnostic imaging with access to advanced imaging modalities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies and collaborating closely with clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.

Key Responsibilities – Radiology

  • Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
  • Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to support clinical decision-making
  • Perform and/or supervise imaging procedures and ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques and protocols for precise diagnosis
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to guide patient management
  • Conduct image-guided procedures where applicable (e.g., biopsies, drainages)
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain quality assurance and participate in departmental audits and improvement initiatives
  • Communicate critical findings promptly to the treating physicians
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous education activities
  • Support the implementation of new imaging technologies and protocols

Eligibility & Board Recognition
