About the OpportunityStrategy & Transactions (SaT) is recruiting for a Valuations Executive to assist our MENA based Oil and Gas clients in addressing their strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair market value documentation needs. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning.Key ResponsibilitiesMake technical contributions to valuation and modelling on client engagements and internal projectsWork on large Oil and Gas clients and gain a thorough understanding of the subject businesses, markets and of clients' issuesPerform research and analysis of the target's industry and of quoted companies operating in the sectorDeal with day-to-day queries raised by clientsAttend internal and external meetings relating to the assignmentPerform valuation calculations and analysesDraft presentations and reports, formulating views on valuePresent conclusions to the rest of the team and contribute to presentations of work and findings to the clientSkills and Attributes for SuccessDeliver valuations on time and within budgetTake ownership of your career by obtaining regular feedback on a timely basisKeep alert to learning and development opportunitiesActively establish and develop external and internal relationshipsHelp create a positive learning culture within the teamQualifications & ExperienceA bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or businessAt least 3 years of valuation work experience with Oil and Gas/Energy clientsExperience in valuation projects for M&A, Purchase Price Allocations, and Fair ValuationsFinancial modeling skills, including building and reviewing models for Energy businessesIdeally You'll Also HaveHunger to grow and develop professionallyValuation experience in a professional services/Big 4 firmExperience in a consulting environment and working with large clientsProgress towards a CFA, CA, or other professional qualificationWhat We Offer YouAt EY, we'll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
