Responsibilities of a Traffic Management Specialist Air
- Receiving, validating, and processing all transportation movement requests (TMR) and Air Movement Requests (AMR) for personnel and equipment.
- Labeling, placarding, and marking equipment for shipment.
- Identifying and troubleshooting problem areas in movement and recommending solutions to management.
- Working closely with customers to ensure desired movement objectives, priorities, and schedules are met.
- Analyzing work processes and developing matrix for measuring performance.
- Overseeing container management and the monthly container management inventory.
- Preparing documentation for all container needs and requests.
- Maintaining historical data on all movements.
- Leading cargo movement and ensuring coordination, preparation, equipment safety, and accountability.
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety practices in accordance with Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Conducting on-the-job training as required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The Traffic Management Specialist Air position requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The environment may be indoor and/or outdoor, with very adverse and harsh conditions such as a hot, dry, dusty, desert environment. The role may also include some industrial production environment conditions. Physical requirements include medium work, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting up to 30 pounds. The role may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and working with or in areas where exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents is possible. Adherence to PPE requirements and compliance with all Fire and Safety Regulations are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce fire safety standards in accordance with local regulations and hotel policies. Conduct regular inspections of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems (e.g., fire alarms, smoke fans, sprinklers, extinguishers). Ensure all fire equipment is maintained, tested, and fully operational at all times. Train employees on fire safety procedures, emergency response, and proper use of firefighting equipment. Investigate fire incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with local fire authorities & AMC providers and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Maintain fire safety documentation, logs, and certification records. Identify potential fire hazards and implement preventive measures. Assist in developing and updating emergency response plans. Qualifications and Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, or related field. Certification in Fire Safety or Firefighting (mandatory as per local regulations). Daily Report Duties General Prepare daily reports. Verify and investigate all rebates, miscellaneous credits, and charges with Controller and GM approval. Rooms Review room rate discrepancies and complimentary room reports. Prepare housekeeping discrepancy reports. Check paid outs, guest ledger, transfer transactions, and daily credit reports. Review Open PM accounts weekly. Conduct weekly physical room and guest RC spot checks. Food & Beverage Review Micros F&B recap and match with system reports. Control banquet function sheets and verify event charges. Investigate discrepancies with Banquet Manager. Conduct outlet spot checks and review voids/returns with approvals. Other Departments Verify telephone, laundry, and recreation reports with system records. Conduct surprise visits to laundry and health club. Ensure proper posting, pricing, and membership verification. Cashiers Verify cashier deposits with night audit reports. Review collections, bank deposits, shortages/overages, and receipt sequences. Ensure daily collections are accurate and deposited on time. Journal Vouchers Prepare sales, cash, room statistics, food cover, telephone, and market segment journals. General Duties Review house funds and reconciliations. Supervise Night Auditor activities. Maintain revenue and CSA files. Control outlet dockets and revenue journals. Audit collections, advance payments, floats, and daily revenues. Perform special tasks assigned by management.
