Job Description: Secondary Art Teacher
Byron Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Art teacher to join our team in Kuwait working with a U.K. Curriculum. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where our students can learn and develop.
Start Date: September 2026
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all students
- Create a warm and welcoming environment where students feel safe, valued, and respected
- Observe and assess students' development, and use this information to plan next steps in their learning
- Work in partnership with parents and carers to support students' learning and development
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required
- Ensure that the classroom environment is clean, tidy, and well-organized
- Support students's personal, social, and emotional development, as well as their physical and cognitive development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Master’s preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in British Curriculum Schools
- Knowledge of the British curriculum and assessment framework
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a new culture and work in a multicultural environment
- Native English Speaker

Benefits:
- Monthly Basic Salary: As per Company Policy, based in years of experience. Monthly take home salary around KWD 1000. Negotiable for deserving candidates.
- Accommodation: Free Fully Furnished Single Accommodation (water, electricity, security, basic cleaning & maintenance) OR Housing Allowance in Cash (KWD 150 per month). The building has a swimming pool and a gymnasium. As per the company policy for teachers coming with family, a 2 bedroom apartment can be assigned with a payment of KWD 90 per month.
- Transportation: Two way free transport from school & company accommodation for the first three months. After, a nominal fee of KWD 20 per month is applicable.
- Air Ticket: From home country, air ticket at the start of the contract, yearly and also return air ticket at the end of contract to home country, for Employee.
- Medical Insurance: Government Medical Insurance for first two years. Private Medical Insurance from third year onward.
- School Fees Discount: 100% Fees Discount for first two children (Subject to prior management approval).
- Working Days: Approximately 177 days in one Academic Year.
- School Working Hours: 07.10 AM through 02.40 PM from Sunday through Thursday. Fridays & Saturdays are weekly holidays.
- Visa Expenses (in Home Country): Reimbursement up to a maximum of KWD 100 upon submission of payment receipts.
- Contract Duration: Two years, could be further renewed upon mutual consent.

Job SummarySupervise and control the entire drilling operation activities during the night shift, ensuring the successful completion of the well and drilling activities while liaising closely with Senior Tool Pusher or deputize for the Senior Tool Pusher when required. At all times considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDrilling OperationsEnsures the safety of personnel, equipment, and the efficiency of operations on the drill floor and other drilling operation associated areas.Plans and schedules all drilling and associated activity. Directs personnel towards achieving optimum job performance according to the client's requirements.Ensures any deviation from client well plan (Game Plan) is approved by STP, and that Client representative has documented in written form, and that necessary management of change or deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts.Consult with the STP and Client's Representative regarding the progress of the Drilling program and associated operations, keeping the driller informed about the ongoing drilling program objectives and communicating any changes in plans.Ensure that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin.Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by the driller.Relieve the Driller at the Driller's console as operational requirement demands.Ensures that all necessary equipment is ready for the next phase of the Drilling/Workover program and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW, are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations.Assists & supervises drilling crew at the location at all relevant times, ensuring circulating time is sufficient and the well is stable on trips, when the BHA is being worked and whenever there is a hole problem.Operates the drilling unit with strict adherence to company Drilling & Well Control manuals, by reviewing and approving all drilling related work permits.Well ControlEnsure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements - assist in supervising well killing operations in any well control situation.Plans & monitors comprehensive well control parameters to proactively identify any signs of well control issues for early detection and swift response.Maintains and regularly tests well control equipment, in accordance with Company's and Client's requirement, ensuring its readiness and effectiveness in critical situations.Perform all well control calculations (i.e., mud weight increase, initial and final circulating pressures, number of strokes, etc.).Management of Major EmergenciesTo be part of the Rig's Emergency Response Team as detailed in the Emergency Plan and Company Procedures.Ensure that all personnel are instructed in the procedures to be adopted in the case of an emergency.Ensure that Well Control and general safety drills are held and recorded in accordance with Company requirements.Materials & EquipmentAssist STP in ensuring the location has sufficient stock of parts and materials to perform drilling and associated operations as per contractual requirements.Ensure planned maintenance and repair of drilling equipment including draw-works, mud pumps, top drive, rotary table, and BOP are completed and documented to ensure optimum condition and proper availability of required tools.Responsible for housekeeping standards in all drilling areas, sack store and mud pump room.Rig MoveSupport STP in planning all related rig move activities, equipment, supplies, personnel in compliance with the Rig move Procedures.Assesses the current and new location, considering factors such as safety, lifting equipment availability.
