About Makaseb
Makaseb is hiring a Production Manager to be the backbone of our production process ensuring every project is on time, on budget, and on point. You'll work closely with directors, producers, and creatives to bring ideas to life across commercial and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure all project timelines and shoot deadlines are met.
- Lead location scouting across Kuwait, overseeing permit acquisition and coordinating all on-site logistics.
- Oversee sourcing and rental of all production equipment, including camera, lighting, grip, and sound gear.
- Manage end-to-end production logistics, including crew transportation, catering, setup, on-set coordination, and preparation of call sheets.
- Handle talent sourcing and coordination, including casting models, actors, extras, and freelance crew members.
- Supervise on-set operations to ensure seamless collaboration between all departments (camera, art, styling, lighting, etc.).
- Monitor production budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-efficient execution without compromising quality.
- Act as the main liaison between the creative team, post-production, and clients to maintain clear communication and alignment.
- Build and maintain a strong network of vendors, freelancers, and location partners across Kuwait.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operational flow and provide effective problem-solving during high-pressure situations.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in production management within commercials, branded content, or film.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Business, or a related field is a Plus.
- Hands-on experience in location scouting, casting, and logistics coordination.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end production workflows (pre-production, shooting, and post-production).
- Familiarity with the Kuwaiti production landscape, including vendors, equipment houses, and local authorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Fire Life Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce fire safety standards in accordance with local regulations and hotel policies. Conduct regular inspections of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems (e.g., fire alarms, smoke fans, sprinklers, extinguishers). Ensure all fire equipment is maintained, tested, and fully operational at all times. Train employees on fire safety procedures, emergency response, and proper use of firefighting equipment. Investigate fire incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with local fire authorities & AMC providers and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Maintain fire safety documentation, logs, and certification records. Identify potential fire hazards and implement preventive measures. Assist in developing and updating emergency response plans. Qualifications and Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, or related field. Certification in Fire Safety or Firefighting (mandatory as per local regulations). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire safety, preferably in hospitality or large facilities. Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems and emergency response procedures. Good communication and training skills. Ability to remain calm and act efficiently during emergencies. Daily Report Duties General Prepare daily reports. Verify and investigate all rebates, miscellaneous credits, and charges with Controller and GM approval. Rooms Review room rate discrepancies and complimentary room reports. Prepare housekeeping discrepancy reports. Check paid outs, guest ledger, transfer transactions, and daily credit reports. Review Open PM accounts weekly. Conduct weekly physical room and guest RC spot checks. Food & Beverage Review Micros F&B recap and match with system reports. Control banquet function sheets and verify event charges. Investigate discrepancies with Banquet Manager. Conduct outlet spot checks and review voids/returns with approvals. Other Departments Verify telephone, laundry, and recreation reports with system records. Conduct surprise visits to laundry and health club. Ensure proper posting, pricing, and membership verification. Cashiers Verify cashier deposits with night audit reports. Review collections, bank deposits, shortages/overages, and receipt sequences. Ensure daily collections are accurate and deposited on time. Journal Vouchers Prepare sales, cash, room statistics, food cover, telephone, and market segment journals. General Duties Review house funds and reconciliations. Supervise Night Auditor activities. Maintain revenue and CSA files. Control outlet dockets and revenue journals. Audit collections, advance payments, floats, and daily revenues. Perform special tasks assigned by management.
