Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings and specifications
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings
  • Develop and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tender submissions
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents and proposals
  • Maintain historical cost databases and estimation records for future reference
  • Review and evaluate contract terms and conditions
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain current material and labor pricing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction estimation
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
