V2X is seeking a skilled ESM Systems Engineer III to join our team, providing expert-level engineering and management support for enterprise systems. This role requires an individual who can integrate physical and digital infrastructure effectively, enhancing security and streamlining logistics.

As an ESM Systems Engineer III, you will be crucial in supporting our Enterprise-class infrastructure within the RCC-SWA. Your responsibilities will include optimizing, administering, and providing technical documentation for all Enterprise infrastructure systems. You will also be responsible for resolving and completing assigned cases and change requests, acting as an escalation point for support issues.

Key Responsibilities as an ESM Systems Engineer

• Provide Enterprise-level support for Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and Windows File Services in a global environment.
• Perform problem Management and Root Cause Analysis for Corporate Identity Management in a large-scale Department of Defense setting.
• Serve as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, providing guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated issues and complex problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Enterprise tools, and third-party software.
• Coordinate and implement patch management, monthly Windows update deployments to Servers and Workstations, analyzing SCCM / Intune log files, application packaging, and distribution.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
• Troubleshoot servers and infrastructure equipment, assess networking requirements and provide solutions.

Essential Skills for Enterprise Systems Management

The successful candidate will have broad knowledge and expert-level hands-on experience in a large Enterprise environment. You should be proficient in:

• Microsoft Active Directory
• Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
• SCCM (MECM)
• WSUS
• SQL
• ADFS
• DNS
• PKI system security and policy configuration
• PowerShell scripting

Qualifications and Certifications for ESM Systems Engineers

To qualify for the ESM Systems Engineer III position, candidates must possess:

• An active Secret Clearance.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Adherence to DoD 8570.01-M, including at least one baseline certification (e.g., CCNP Security, CASP+, Security+, GCED, GCIH, CISA, CCSP, CISSP) and one computing environment (CE) certification (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience (10 preferred) in managing Enterprise-level information systems.
