Job Summary
Visa is seeking an experienced and visionary Director, LMM - New Verticals Product Lead to drive the strategy and development of innovative payment solutions for emerging market segments. This role will be pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and launching new products and services that expand Visa's reach beyond traditional payment rails, focusing on areas like B2B payments, embedded finance, Web3, and other strategic growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of product leadership, market acumen, and execution capabilities, with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new vertical payment solutions, aligning with Visa's overall corporate strategy.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring market fit and business value.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify unmet needs and significant growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, legal, and regional teams to ensure successful product development and go-to-market execution.
- Develop robust business cases, financial models, and pricing strategies for new products, demonstrating clear ROI.
- Drive strategic partnerships and ecosystem development critical for the success of new vertical initiatives.
- Mentor and lead a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent Visa as a thought leader in new payment verticals at industry events and with key clients.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on new product development, emerging technologies, or new market verticals, preferably within financial services or technology.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, defining, and launching successful products in complex and regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, financial technologies (FinTech), and emerging business models (e.g., B2B payments, embedded finance, blockchain).
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
