About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Specialist to join a leading Government Hospital in Al Ain as a Consultant Otolaryngologist (ENT). The successful candidate will provide specialist ENT care, perform advanced surgical procedures, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist ENT consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients across all age groups
- Perform ENT surgical procedures including endoscopic, otologic, and head & neck surgeries
- Manage complex ENT cases and oversee inpatient and outpatient ENT clinics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across surgery, pediatrics, oncology, and audiology
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency ENT coverage
- Supervise, mentor, and train residents, registrars, and junior medical staff
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, DOH licensing standards, and hospital policies
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Lead and participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in Continuing Medical Education (CME), research, and academic teaching activities
- Support departmental planning, service development, and accreditation readiness
