The Role: Assistant - Buying (Lifestyle)
As an Assistant - Buying for Lifestyle, you will play a crucial supporting role within our dynamic buying team. You will contribute to the selection and procurement of a diverse range of beauty, fashion, and home products, ensuring our offerings resonate with our vast customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the buying team in product selection, assortment planning, and procurement processes.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify new opportunities.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships, including communication, order placement, and follow-up.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and provide insights to optimize stock management.
- Prepare reports and presentations on buying activities, product performance, and market trends.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and promotions.
- Handle administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the buying department.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a retail environment, ideally in a buying or merchandising support role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A keen interest in beauty, fashion, and home retail trends.

POSITION OBJECTIVE To prepare the dining hall before service and maintain it clean, organise and fresh, in addition to his original task in serving the clients. Key Responsibilities Assist in the restaurant cleaning in the morning Clean all service utensils before each service. Help captain waiter in the restaurant set up. Keep his / her appearance clean and maintain a high hygiene level. Help captain waiter in mise en place preparation. Transport food from kitchen to dining hall. Assist captain waiter putting the food plates on clients table Changing ashtrays and fill glasses with water during service. Clear the table after meal is done and clean it. Transport all dirty plates, glasses to the dishwashing area. Work under the guidance of captain waiter and follows his /her instructions.
