Associate People Operations will act as the HR point of contact for the entire Internal fleet, providing Human Resources support to logistics and coordinating all rider-related activities, and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies. The role will be focused on supporting the People Operations team by the recruitment of riders locally and internationally, ensuring that at GR activities related to riders are complete and riders are within legal compliance to work, supporting all rider projects, payroll, ad hoc contracts and letters etc. 

What’s On Your Plate?

Support the hiring process of the riders with the Logistics partner.

Manage the onboarding, including pre-employment requirements (offer, hotel & ticket, cash advances, orientation, etc.) 

Plan annual leave for all Inhouse riders to ensure operations efficiency at all times.

Manage the rider’s files and ensure the accuracy of all the information in g-sheet and bamboo.

Support the performance management of the riders

Support in the disciplinary and termination procedures

Coordinate with the PRO the transfer of sponsorship of the riders and ensure they have a valid QID.

Provide support for opening bank accounts, medical insurance (Hamad), and life insurance.

Support riders’ payroll (prepare a report of deduction and addition to their payroll)

Support projects related to the riders

Support people engagement activities

What you need to be successful

What Did We Order?

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management with min. 2 years of work experience in the same field. 

Knowledge of local employment laws & Qatar Labor Law No. 14.

Ability to deal with riders, agencies, & suppliers (if required) professionally in stressful situations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously. 

Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited direction and under tight deadlines. 

Exceptional planning, follow-up, and organisational skills. 

Strong personal and work ethics.

Advanced G-Suite skills including G-Sheets, G-Docs and G-Slides. 

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Working proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
