  • Envisage, adapt and evolve business logic within Revenue management working closely with Pricing, Inventory and Systems team to optimize revenue.
  • Ensure that the business operations and systems operate in tandem towards Qatar Airways Strategic goals to maximize revenue opportunity for Qatar Airways.
  • Support Senior Management and route managers around revenue opportunities using data based algorithms.
  • Run analytics on business scenarios, evaluate business contingencies and perform impact analysis to support senior management with strategic decisions.
  • Create strategies to counter unanticipated business conditions ensuring timely decision making leading to revenue gains and cost savings for Qatar Airways
  • Manage revenue management strategy around ancillary products like Online Upgrades, Seats and Baggage using data-based approach.
  • Manage pricing and inventory strategies across multiple distribution levels including NDC in line with Qatar Airways distribution strategy and effectively provide management reporting.
  • Play a key role in setting up the pricing and inventory strategy for the network to ensure Qatar Airways competitiveness and ability to deliver its revenue goals and objectives including RASK.
  • Contribute to delivering the department’s revenue budget by providing analysis that highlights opportunities for Qatar Airways to expand the network pricing reach and generate incremental traffic on Qatar Airways flights.
  • Manage core Revenue Management strategy projects working with other critical stake holders in the airline to deliver key project milestones and meet deadlines.
  • Act as subject matter expert on Pricing/Inventory topics to maximize revenue, grow route revenue and strengthen brand value across all markets.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Revenue Management Team

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Airline Revenue Management
  • Knowledge of Revenue Management methodologies and principles with a strong foundation in ATPCo standards.
  • Experience of working in a strategy focused role will be an added advantage.
  • Advanced analytical ability and strong understanding of mathematical and economic concepts as related to revenue management & pricing.
  • Knowledge of data processing and visualization tools like Ms. Excel, SQL , Alteryx , Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Good knowledge of airline pricing and revenue management systems and tools such as PROS, Amadeus, airline tariffs, APTCO or SITA fare filing, Pricing Systems (PLP, AirPrice SITA, AirNguru or Sabre), Infare or Group Revenue Management Systems.
  • Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflows. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train, and foster teamwork among team members.
