I have partnered with a leading consultancy who are looking to onboard a Senior HR Consultant on an initial 12-month contract.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality HR solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Responsibilities:
Consultation and Advisory Services:
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits.
- Assess clients’ HR needs and develop customized solutions to address challenges and improve HR processes and practices.
HR Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist clients in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment legislation and proactively advise clients on compliance requirements.
Talent Management and Development:
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
- Guide performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Support clients in their recruitment efforts by guiding sourcing strategies, candidate screening, and interview processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
Employee Engagement and Retention:
- Advise clients on strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct employee surveys, analyze results, and recommend action plans to address areas for improvement.
HR Technology and Systems:
- Assess clients’ HR technology needs and provide recommendations on HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) selection, implementation, and optimization.
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of HR systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Consultant or HR Generalist, with a solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and effectively manage client relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
