WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

As a Senior Account Executive you will be part of the CSM Middle East team, supporting one of our biggest accounts. The role would see you working across different projects, and across different sports. You will support the day-to-day relationship between CSM and the client, be responsible for certain elements of client account management, and manage discussions with rights holders and suppliers related to the client’s sports marketing strategy and activation delivery. We are looking for a talent to bring great client skills, experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, knowledge of sports sponsorship, expertise in event planning and project management and a passion for the sports & entertainment sector.

 

You will be part of our Brands team, and will be based in Saudi Arabia (with remote and flexible working options, as well as some time working out of the client offices). You will work with colleagues across the Middle East and will need to travel occasionally between KSA & UAE and other countries in the region as required. You will report into an experienced Senior Account Director.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

Strategic Account Support

•Supporting the relationship with the client, and working with key contacts within the client’s in-house delivery teams. Additional support across other Saudi clients.

•Effective management of regular project and status meetings with the client and internally within CSM, together with regular documentation of tasks delivered, project management, and other client reporting

•Support in the client strategy and project planning.

•Lead on development and management of project timelines, budget management, invoicing, task tracking and other relevant supplementary account documents.

•Support internal and external ideation sessions and creative development.

•Support the relationships and management of internal stakeholders, rights holders & suppliers.

•Support team in implementation of all aspects of the account touch points including; brand strategy, communication channels and content strategy, events and live experience activations, digital & social strategies, PR & Comms and guest management.

 

Administration

•Organize client meetings and requirements thereof

•Make adjustments to strategy documents and project delivery documents as required

•Create internal and external presentations

•Ensure account filing is done in a simple and efficient fashion

•Learn and adapt to the company in-house digital solutions and systems.

•Onboarding and ongoing management of third-party suppliers

 

General

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

•University graduate

•Fluency in English, written and spoken. Arabic beneficial

•A clear passion for sports & entertainment

•3-4 years’ experience in Sports Marketing & Account Management preferred

•Client-facing experience within the Middle East region. KSA beneficial

•Good presentation skills and able to contribute in group discussions

•Analytical and problem-solving mentality

•Appetite for account management and strategic planning

•Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities, sometimes with tight deadlines

•Proven ability to prioritise, manage your time efficiently, and ability to work under pressure

•Outstanding written and oral communications skills, attention to detail

•Solution-focused and hands-on approach to managing workstreams
