Job Purpose

Ensure security measures and controls are in place at particular site or location to support Company security operations at all times. 

Key Job Accountabilities – I

Support the coordination of security and guard services at a particular site and coordinate a team’s emergency response.  

Assist in the reporting of operational security risks to management and staff.

Ensure ongoing inspection of contracted guards and posts to meet requires standards.

Participate in security risk assessments.

Complete security incident reports for the management review.

Assist in the coordination for the resolution of major and minor security issues.

Act as the Security In Charge for security incidents until relieved.

Perform basic security investigations.

Conduct inspection of security posts to ensure adherence to security health and environment requirements.


Completion of Secondary School Education (12 years) followed by a 2 year Technical Preparation Programme (TPP) course or development programme.  

Security certifications and membership of a professional security body. 

Knowledge and/or Experience – I

5 years’ experience in military police/government to junior officer level in which 3 years of industrial experience or 7 years formal private security experience in an industrial environment to junior officer level.
