We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue and developing strong client relationships, while leading a dynamic sales team to achieve exceptional results.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
- Achieve budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan and business plan, and financial plans
- Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food, and beverage, and banquet sales
- Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed the established revenue plan.
- Informing executive departments about appointments and details
- Coach and mentor Sales administrators.
- Solving problems and dealing with complaints in collaboration with executive departments and initially on/after completion
- Maintain close collaboration with the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Attend all Sales and Revenue related meetings
- Keep up track of the client database, together with the account and in consultation with the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing, periodically evaluate contracts.
- Provide guests with information (for example loyalty programs, area attractions, restaurants, and facility information) to enhance the guest experience
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and/or convention business, including room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services
- Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
- Identify improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with other departments.
What We need from you:
· Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
· Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
· Knowledge of hotel sales systems and software.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
· A professional demeanor and guest-focused attitude.
