From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our Dynamic Sales Team. You will be promoting the Four Seasons Hotel Doha for Corporate & Government Clients. Not only will you service existing clients and agents, but you’ll also seek new clients and as part of a wider team of Sales Managers, you will endeavor to achieve sales targets and the team’s overall objectives. 

Prospecting and securing individual and group bookings accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and in concert with WSO effort.

Soliciting and securing business from key corporate accounts and travel industry sources.

Adding value for guests while nurturing long-lasting client relationships and maintaining effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.

Supporting the Director of Sales and leadership in the creation and review of sales reports.

Following up on all business inquiries/ leads and qualifying business to generate room nights and impact RevPAR performance and on all pending and currently booked business details.

Create and execute account plans for top 20 accounts and make recommendations re yield management, room night production, sales activities, etc.

Achieve monthly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined.

Producing monthly sales recaps of market achievement based upon marketing plan objectives.

Establishing and maintaining a strong Golden: Sales & Catering System hygiene including account creation, account traces, contact information, client email lists, bookings, etc. in accordance with Four Seasons standards.

Understanding and maximizing the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with corporate and travel industry business.

Participating in sales meetings, pipeline meetings and leadership meetings as required. 

Initiating booking feedback as needed with the DOS, DOM and GM during the sales process up to and including the contract. 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills :-

A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position

Luxury hotel Sales experience.

Proven sales track record is a plus.

College education or equivalent experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills and an Arabic speaker is essential for this role.

Ideally, you will have experience working with reservation systems and be comfortable working in a multicultural environment with a strong understanding of the Doha market.
