Duties and Responsibilities

FINANCIAL RETURNS

  • Manage the sale and promotion of departmental products and services
  • Access sales and marketing data
  • Assist with the development of new products and services
  • Assist with the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
  • Anticipate economic business level fluctuations and makes action plans

PEOPLE

  • Comply with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (eg  signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc)
  • Interacts with guests as well as health club members and individuals in the local community.
  • Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other hotel departments as required.
  • Adhere to departmental cleaning and maintenance programs
  • Attend and input at management meetings as required
  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports do the same
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are logged investigated and rectified to prevent future catastrophes
  • Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct
  • Familiarize yourself with the company values and model desired behaviors

 

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including:
    • Being attentive to Guests
    • Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests
    • Anticipate Guests needs
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest experience
    • Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude
    • Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints

 

  • Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
  • Deliver high quality service to guests

 

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

  • Co-ordinate the maintenance of all recreational facilities and equipment
  • Coordinate the delivery of all recreational guest services
  • Responsible for the safety of all guest services
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
