In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work with GES+ contractors to find out about projects in FEED and engage.
  • Work with EPCs/LSTK contractors for securing the opportunities for on-going projects
  • Maintain an accurate project funnel and forecast classified with FEED/Bidders Bid and Firm opportunities. This should have Product Group wise scope clarity.
  • Develop the winning strategy for projects in co-ordination with Project Sales Manager
  • Develop fluency on products knowledge with special focus on Flow meters in MSOL portfolio
  • Drive Emerson differentiated solutions with Engineering Contractors
  • Drive Technical Sessions for technology differentiation and map the progress
  • Perform all duties and tasks in alignment with the procedures set by Projects Sales Manager.
  • Visit the key accounts regularly and develop the relations with them
  • Analyze the technical information (Specifications and Datasheets) provided by the customers and propose suitable solution for the application.
  • Prepare (with support of back office) and submit the quotations to customers/ LBPs in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure the technical, quoted price and lead time meet the customer’s requirement.
  • Understand and adopt the POR expectations and deliver on time
  • Review the customer’s commercial terms and conditions and bring up to the Legal/Finance teams when required.
  • Follow the ICE methodology for pursuing strategic projects
  • Prepare and submit the costing to the BDMs for extended discount approval, when required.
  • Ensure compliance to Emerson Values, Ethics, HSE and Trade Compliance Policies.
  • Understand the SOPs for internal matters like POR, DOA approval mechanism, Back office support, Other BUs collaboration etc
  • Ensuring clean orders handover to PMO team for execution
  • Analysis of market trends, developing and promoting product differentiators, and getting intelligence of our competitor’s behavior
  • Stay ahead of the developments in the competitive landscape and provide timely competitive analysis.
