We have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator I – UAE Nationals Only to join us at Honeywell in Masdar.

The Project Coordinator will be working with both Regional Execution Leader and  Project Managers exhibit genuine interest in solving work problems through proactively asking questions, clearly communicating and collaborating both internally and externally to align the team and make sure of Team are following the business quality requirements in addition, the Project Coordinator is responsible for understanding our customers and showing initiative to learn and continuously improve company processes.

Under supervision, the Project coordinator has responsibility for the successful execution of the project to accommodate both the customer’s needs and CCC’s financial objectives.  This includes managing and being responsible for the project schedule and the resources assigned to the project (people, materials, and services).

Key responsibilities

Listed in order of relevance:

– Responsible for driving the project to successful completion, meeting established targets of delivery and project profitability. Communication with customer, including but not limited to setting expectations at the beginning of the project, schedule, scope of supply. Under supervision negotiates schedule with customer to satisfy both their and CCC internal goals. This may include travel to customer office or site for meetings and managing testing activities.

– Tracks and reports project status on a periodical basis including customer expectations, hours charged by team, material costs, actual project costs vs. budget, monitor receivables and deliverables.

– Upon project completion, analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, utilization, customer satisfaction. Capture lessons learned and gave feedback to other departments and Engineering Manager. Promptly, work with Finance to trigger customer invoicing.

– Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure completion of customer correspondence, maintenance of project schedules, and administration of commercial issues.

– Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Key skills and qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering

– Project Management certification preferred

– Ability to read, speak, and write in English required.

– Ability to understand methods and processes associated with operations and implementation of project execution. Proactive and drives for results.

– Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project, preferred. Ability to effectively leverage internal and external resources to keep projects on track
