Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role, you will complete a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard accounting techniques and principles and ensuring accurate collation and compilation of project information. This is a professional position where assignments are structured to familiarize the incumbent with Company practices and procedures.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Complete a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard accounting techniques and principles.
  • Audit accounts, sub-jobs, and other financial information for completeness, accuracy and legitimacy of charges, and conformance with accounting procedures.
  • Generate and analyze periodic financial reports, making recommendations regarding status of reserves and assets.
  • Review draft billings for contract compliance and makes necessary changes.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable billed/unbilled schedules with job costs and revenue.
  • Analyze accounts, computes standard ratios, and prepares standard financial statements.
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports, including income and balance sheets.
  • Prepare invoice recapitulations and advance funds requests.
  • Maintain journals, general ledger, and subsidiary accounting records.
  • Maintain expense controls and budget processes.
  • Maintain and update project control and commercial trackers (Potential Variation Request, VO, Claims, payments, Bonds and Guarantees etc.) ensuring that all data is current and accurate.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular progress reports and presentations based on tracker data.
  • Upload and manage project-related documents required for Client approvals, ensuring all documentation meets the necessary standards.
  • Perform other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities. Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

 

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (or equivalent) from an accredited Institution/ University is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years of Projects Control Coordinator/ Accountant experience.
  • Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

 

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) will be preferred.
