Procurement Specialist
- Manage day-to-day procurement requisitions.
- Prepare RFQs for Steel Manufacturers and Suppliers and prepare Price Comparison.
- Evaluate and negotiate new contracts with suppliers.
- Generate Purchase Orders and ensure all terms and conditions as per agreement.
- Follow up on pending open orders to ensure delivery on time and meet projects delivery schedule.
- Suggest new initiatives for cost optimization.
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply of high-quality service.
- Conduct frequent evaluations for supplier prices, reliability, adherence to the contractual agreements and undertake necessary actions.
- Enrich Company’s suppliers portfolio and data base.
- Lead and implement all procurement policies and ensure all procurement activities is according to company policy.
- Identify, pre-qualify, and evaluate existing and potential vendors to ensure all supply sources meet the organization’s requirements for quality, cost, and timely delivery.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in commercial topics or degree in business studies with experience in procurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of basic financial statements and transactions related to the construction industry.
- Continuous improvement and attention to details focused.
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced MS Office 365 proficiency
