Job Description
- To provide comprehensive internal and external financial reporting and support to the Regulatory Reporting team in the preparation of the company’s reports.
- Adhere to all relevant organizational policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is consistently carried out following required standards in delivering services to customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather, analyze, and validate financial data for reporting purposes.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct research on accounting standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Assist with audits and examinations by regulatory agencies, providing documentation and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and compliance teams.
Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English are mandatory.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and Islamic accounting standards (AAOFI) is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Arabic speaking candidates are preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant fields and professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA.
- Min. 3 – 5 years of experience in a financial service institution ideally with Islamic banking product knowledge.
