We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our prestigious hotel team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the hotel’s computer systems, networks, and software applications.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: 

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and networks in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and resolving them promptly.
  • Monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure their availability, reliability, and security.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems to keep them up to date. Collaborating with the hotel management team to determine IT needs and execute technology-related projects.
  • Providing technical support to hotel staff, assisting them with any computer-related problems or queries they may have.
  • Managing the hotel’s data backup and recovery systems to ensure the protection and integrity of hotel and guest information.
  • Maintaining security measures, including firewalls and antivirus software, to safeguard the hotel’s network and data.

What do we need from you?

  • Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field.
  • 1 year of related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of networks operating systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
  • Great communication skills.
  • A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
