IP Network Engineer

About the Role
The position will take responsibility for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IP Network Systems. Additionally conduct trend analysis to identify problems and implement solutions ensuring an effective network management performance. 

About You
Ideal candidate should have the following: 

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in installation, test, troubleshooting and maintenance of the IP network
• Strong familiarity with IP traffic engineering methods and QoS application and be able to effectively use traffic data to manage the network to the required reliability objectives.
• CCNP R&S certification or equivalent certification
• Knowledge or experience in the following:
  • Proficiency in L2/3 transport protocols such as MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, etc
  • Understanding of L2 – L7 protocols including Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, RTP, HTTP/S, FTP, etc.
  • Knowledge of various L2 switching technologies/protocols including STP/MSTP/RSTP, VXLAN, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, etc.
  • Experience with VRFs, ACLs, DMVPN, VoIP, QoS, SNMP, VPC, and VSS
  • Familiarity with EGP and IGP routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
• Must have valid Kuwaiti driving license
