Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Design Inspector to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive site operations and building experience, with a robust background in interior design inspection. You will be responsible for ensuring that interior design projects meet all quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout the construction and implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of interior design projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Review architectural and interior design plans to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Monitor site operations to ensure that interior construction and installation are carried out according to approved designs and standards.
  • Identify and document any discrepancies, defects, or non-compliance issues and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain comprehensive records of inspections and compliance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and excellence in all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in site operations and interior design inspection.
  • Proven experience with building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards in Dubai.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret design plans and technical documents accurately.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for inspection and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification or accreditation in interior design or building inspection (e.g., CID, LEED).
  • Experience with high-profile or large-scale interior design projects.
  • Knowledge of Dubai’s specific building regulations and codes.
