Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Provide training to employees on safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workplace conditions and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology industry or manufacturing environment.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
