THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is based in Oman in the Abbott Core Diagnostics Division . We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system
- requirements.
- Deliver customer operator and technology /scatterplot training in Abbott facilities or onâ€site.
- Perform new instrument implementations and validations through Test Of Record (TOR).
- Perform onâ€site investigation, troubleshooting and operator training and coaching.
- Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), overall instrument and lab performances, TOR achievement, Customer care visits and operational reviews using PBI dashboards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hematology experience and background (scientific and/or laboratory) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hematology or medical technology is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and
- customer references.
- Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- Technical expert for product line responsibility.
- Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
