Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guest Experience Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring that every guest has a remarkable stay. The ideal candidate will be an expert in customer service, possess strong leadership abilities, and have a keen eye for detail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the guest experience team, manage daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences, including personalized services and special events.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and front desk, to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze booking trends, implementing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Monitor guest feedback through surveys, online reviews, and direct communication to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and consistency in guest experiences.
  • Train and mentor staff on service excellence and hospitality best practices.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
  • Analyze guest data and trends to anticipate needs and preferences, enhancing future experiences.
  • Create and maintain a warm and welcoming environment that reflects the hotel’s values and standards.

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a guest services or hospitality management role, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a guest-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
