As a Global Sales Senior Officer in the Sales Excellence team, you will be responsible to provide commercial business support and assistance to the Global Sales function including project management, marketing, IT development & compliance, to enable revenue growth and revenue protection while keeping a clear focus on commercial alignment. To manage and execute legal compliance along with the internal & external processes. To perform data analytical tasks to identify and support business activities both driven from management requests and self-generated, in a timely manner. Driving day to day management of the client/supplier sales cycle, coordination with QR Sales Offices and ensuring intelligent implementation of sales tools & technology, in line with sales strategies and objectives.

Other key operational duties would include:

  • Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and with all levels of management.
  • Provide deep analysis and research into business opportunities within a changing global marketplace in order to make informed commercial decisions and reduce speed to market.
  • Responsible for being an effective interface between the Global Sales function with other internal departments including but not limited to Contracts/Legal/Finance/Marketing, etc and for implementing and maintaining sales policies, processes and procedures for Global Sales through ongoing communication and stakeholder management.
  • Provide support and assistance to Managers & field offices that complement their requirements in achieving their Sales targets/KPIs,
  • To identify & highlight required improvement areas within the existing processes. With visibility to stakeholders, be able to formulate & implement improvements to the administration tasks ensuring Global Sales delivers & meets deadlines/speed to market & an maintains an “easy to do business with” profile
  • Prepare intelligence reports & analytics for client & internal stakeholder business reviews to provide the commercial organization with visibility and support in making decisions.
  • Support Global Sales wider commercial objectives across relevant functions through the formulation, development and implementation of tools and products that would facilitate and enhance station performance capabilities.
  • Support in drafting and maintaining business line or product specific SOPs and guidelines in order to facilitate further business alignment and compliance.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Global Sales team.

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience on CRM systems such as Safesforce
  • Experience of delivering training.
  • Ability to handle and process large blocks of data and prepare executive summaries
  • Ability to evaluate processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Proven commercial skills and business acumen (able to spot and interpret market trends)
  • Knowledge of travel industry
  • Advanced skills of influencing and negotiation skills
  • Advanced skills of analytical and problem solving skills
