Job Purpose:

 

Provide practical solution for day-to-day engineering operation problems, evaluating the unit performance and optimizing plant operation.

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  1. Review and audits material & energy balance to identify plant/ process efficiency, Yields & Losses.
  2. Preparing the Daily/ Monthly/ quarterly / Yearly production reports.
  3. Complete the monthly closing in the SAP.
  4. Carry out all the SAP transactions (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Good Receipt and service entry sheet).
  5. Assures that the unit is operated within the operating design limits, product quality meets the specification, and corrective actions are taken for any quality deviation.
  6. Ensure unit parameters are optimized & follow to achieve plant KPI’s.
  7. Participate in all the technical studies (PHA, RCA, etc.), and make feasibility studies for the plant projects.
  8. Coordinates with supporting Departments to resolve deficiencies/ bottlenecks and improves plant performance and reliability.
  9. Monitor and review the sustainability parameters and provide technical solution in case of deviation and issuing the sustainability report.
  10. Reviews technical reports / change proposals and vendor reports for implementation towards improvements.
  11. Support EHSS/quality coordinator to investigate quality Incidents.
  12. Carry out all the inspection recommendation in timely manner.
  13. Responsible of issuing and processing all the project related, PESR, e-TSR & Engineering request and Communication with vendors (through the PRE Departments) as applicable.
  14. Review and follow up all the action items highlighted by the plant reliability team (PRT) and address all the reliability issue.
  15. Verify the PMP incident and initiate the report investigation as pre the incident classification.
  16. Participate in the reliability study (RBI RCM, RIS), and implement the recommendations in timely manner.
  17. Coordinate to develop plan for implementation of capital items/ projects.
  18. Initiate PRE request, projects and evaluate its feasibility, risk assessment report SAFER, MOC workflow as per SHEM-09 guidelines.
  19. Review SDS for all chemicals used in the area.
  20. Verifying and reviewing any Royal commission violations and take the corrective action.

 

Requirements: 

 

Bachelor’s Degree in chemical Engineering.

5+ years’ experience as a process / Operation engineer in a petrochemical industry at Olefins plants.
