**Key Responsibilities:**

 

1. Talk with clients to understand their design needs, goals, and budgets. Turn their ideas into architectural designs.

2. Create architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for new buildings, renovations, and remodels. Make sure designs follow building codes, zoning laws, and environmental rules.

3. Use CAD software and other design tools to make detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models. Clearly share design ideas and details with clients and team members.

4. Research building materials, construction methods, and green practices to make smart design choices that improve building performance and durability.

5. Work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other team members to include structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in designs.

6. Prepare and present design ideas and project documents to clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams. Gather feedback and make needed changes.

7. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources from the initial concept to the final construction documents and construction management.

**Requirements:**

 

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university. A license as a Registered Architect (RA) may be needed based on state rules.
2. Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio of finished projects showing design skills, creativity, and technical know-how.
3. Skilled in using architectural design software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar programs. Able to create high-quality drawings, renderings, and presentations.
