Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Manager to join our team! In this role you will responsible for overseeing contracts and commercial management for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms, and managing risks effectively.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Review, develop and enforce administrative procedures for effective performance within terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Supporting the project teams in monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services to ensure services are effective, meet projects and statutory requirements, and deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Develops and implements procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with conditions of the contract.
  • Manage contract lifecycle from inception to completion.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing commercial strategy
  • Drafting contractual correspondence and maintains records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all Contractual matters.
  • Administration, review and settlement of claims, resolution of disputes and contract change negotiations.
  • Identifying recurring/potential recurring claims across the projects and providing mitigation strategies
  • Reviewing, developing, and managing systems and procedures for the monitoring of the contracts and claims to ensure that contractual compliance is sues are resolved both timely and effectively.
  • Maintaining client relationships, delivering contractual and commercial reports in accordance with client’s requirements.
  • Assists the projects team in contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractor.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensures that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Advises on all contractual matters.

 

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or degree in Quantity Surveying
    Minimum 15 years of related experience in building and infrastructure projects.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Working experience with the supervision consultants and or project
    management consultants.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Experience in mega projects will be advantageous
  • Professional membership or working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS
  • UAE experience
  • Excellent writing, negotiations, and communication skills
