We are working with our client in the Energy Sector who are looking to hire a new Business Development Director to work in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Director:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding the company’s footprint in the energy sector.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, partners, and competitors.
  • Analyse industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Provide insights on customer needs and market dynamics to support product development and service offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, leading negotiations and closing deals that align with company goals.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management.
Sales Management:
  • Lead and mentor the business development team, setting performance targets and providing guidance to achieve sales objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and the contracts to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns and initiatives that drive lead generation and conversion.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards within the sector.
  • 8 to 10 years of Siesmic/geophysical survey experience, preferably degree educated.
  • Previous experience working in the Energy Sector.
  • Experience working with global markets and cross-functional teams.
