Department RAS LAFFAN PORT Primary purpose of job To manage onshore Port Operations to provide services for the provision of services to Port Users and recover the revenue accruing to QatarEnergy. Experience & Skills • Minimum 15 years work experience with at least 10 years in a middle-management role, preferably in maritime area with broad experience in ports logistics. • Comprehensive knowledge of shipping, contract of affreightment, terminal planning & operations, port safety regulations, International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and stevedoring operations for liquid, break bulk, container vessels across diverse commodity lines. • Good leadership, problem solving, decision making, excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong working knowledge of IT applications, MS Office and SAP. Education • Internationally recognised senior maritime qualification or University Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transport, Maritime Studies or other relevant discipline.
